"Finding Diego"
Dr. Edlyn Peña created a digital story as part of a funded project at California Lutheran University. The digital story--a three minute video about a life event--depicts the experiences Dr. Peña had when her son was diagnosed with autism. The purpose of the digital story is to raise awareness among professionals and educators about the ways in which families cope with the autism diagnosis. In addition, the digital story is meant to remind other parents of children with autism that they are not alone in this journey.
